For the most part yeti is pretty mat free, except in one area. He gets mat after mat under his chin. Is this unusual? Is it because his beard gets wet when he drinks? Anything to do about them besides brush more?

Try clipping the chin area a bit. Or you might try some grooming spray, which works for me. I use Pro-groom candy ne coat conditioner by Lambert Kay. It helps mine stay mat free.
Canine coat conditioner! Sorry spell check!
Our newest doodle mats on his chin and mustache. We just work on it often.

Hi, this is super common since their beard gets wet when they drink or even drool when they sleep. :) I find the best way to tackle this is to use some grooming wipes, I love the earthbath ones, to clean that area really well and then use metal comb through it.

Thank you all SO much :)
