Pads on Doodles

I am interested in finding out what is the best product to use on the pads of my Doodle, Kai.   I noticed that they are drying out in the colder weather...We do a lot of walking on roads and might be that also..Would love any help in this area.

Unless they are bleeding Nothing is best.  Your doodle can't wear shoes so it builds up calluses to protect his sensitive toes.  Softening them would be equivalent to you walking with no shoes : )

I don't have an answer for you........I have the same problem.   My labradoodle seems to have very sensitive feet.  More than once her feet have started bleeding after walking or playing with other dogs.  I'm careful, we do't walk too far and vary the walk-sidewalk, grass, etc.  Just how do I help her build up callouses on her pads?  Do the ointments help or hinder?? Does anybody know??
