UPDATE: Used Blade?

I ordered a new 7 blade for my Andis 2 Speed clippers from Amazon and they arrived today.

The metal has a few scratches but what caught my eye and the question I have it that they came oiled. I've ordered two other blades before and dont remember that they were already oiled.

Does this look used to you?
When you purchased a new blade did they come oiled?

Note: Last January I received another item ordered new, but delivered used.

UPDATE:

I sent the original back and that was good because I ordered it wrong the first time too. I needed a 7FC but in the long run, with my dog, it doesn't matter much.

I received the new one in 30 hours!

It also came oiled. So, just an FYI, to prevent rusting on the shelf, many blades are oiled. They are not used, just packaged with lubricant.

That doesn't look new and I believe my blades came dry. I had to put the first oil on them.

That's what I thought too. My other blades were spotless with no oil

Me, too. My blades arrived shiny and never oiled. That looks used. How weird.

I agree too Joanne, it looks used. Mine have always come dry and unblemished. Strange.

Resolved beyond my expectations.

The company sells on Amazon and stores their products at an Amazon warehouse.

The blade has already been picked up by UPS and on its' way back to storage. A new replacement is on the way and will be here by Friday
