Hi all.  I'm debating the pro/con of shelling out for a les poochs brush for my pooches (sorry, couldn't resist).  I've read the boards, and see that many folks love the brush.  What is the difference between the les pooch and a regular slicker (which both my dogs loathe, so another reason I'm hesitating to buy les poochs).  BTW, I've already received advice from Kemp on which one to purchase, should I decide to do so.  Thanks!

I sent him some pictures and we'll see what he suggests. The groomer scolded me and said Mabels ears were matted. When she pointed it out I felt so bad. I was always focusing on her coat and never noticed her ears looking that bad. I clean the insides all the time! How did that slip past me. Oh well, I guess we are all learning. They said I will have to shave her ears. She's gonna look silly!  :) Thanks for the information!
It is easy to forget about the ears.  I just got my les poochs and love it.  Can't believe the difference in a brush and how much better the dogs tolerated being brushed.  Hope you get one that you like.
Thanks everyone for sharing about the les pooch brush. I must say that I had my doubts. I ordered the green brush (as per Kemp.  thanks again for your help Kemp!!)  It arrived while we were away on vacation.  I used it for the first time yesterday on Pippin (and on Kylie, my maltese) and cannot believe the difference.  This thing went through Pippin's coat with no trouble at all.  It also did a wonderful job on Kylie's coat.  Both dogs were much more accepting of the brush than any of the others that I have used.  Kylie is especially sensitive and neither dog likes being brushed.  So, here is a sceptic turned believer!  The other thing that has really helped with brushing is learning how to line brush.  Thanks again everyone.

Thanks Jess and Pippin....I'm glad I could help you with your brush selection from the Doodle Country Store. My brushes have been getting a workout lately...one of my doodles got into a bunch of burrs as he was going after a ball, so I used the green brush to get out most of the burrs. LOL  Oh what fun, it's always something with my crazy doodles. Thanks again!!
