I am a die-hard Creative Memories fan and still love their scrapbooks. I am weird in that I scrap directly on the page, not on a 12x12 sheet affixed onto the page... But I may change my mind. I do mostly simple layout with not a lot of embellishments. I have done a 7x7 album for my hubby's lab who was killed a few years back by a car. My puppy is not home yet, (Sept. 4th), but I will for-sure be scrapping her! I doubt it will be a whole book for her, more likely I'll stick to my M.O.: Family Chronological albums with 2-4 page spreads per subject. I don't care where I get the paper from. Also, I LOVE Stampin Up for stamps and really have saved a ton of money with the alphabet stamps in particular. I get my pictures printed from Ritzpix. LOVE them!!!

Hi Nancy! You're my first member :-D. I too, am a die-hard Creative Memories fan, in fact I joined the business so I could support my CM habit! LOL I scrap directly to the page also! Have you tried the Creative Memories Photo Center? Their prints are great.

Sept 4th will be here before you know it. I look forward to seeing your pages of your new puppy.

Can you think of any challenges we could have on this site? Maybe a weekly layout challenge?
I am not a Creative Memories user. I have made about 12 albums so far. The biggest was one for my parents 60th anniversary in 1999. I started with pages from when they were children and all their siblings, then moving onto when they met and were dating, then married. I did pages on their siblings families with their children grown. Then pages with our family when my brother and I were young, our marriages, then with our children young and now grown. I included their interests, things they did during their lifetime. The album was presented to them at a surprise 60th Anniversary party. We told them it was going to be a family reunion. They were VERY surprised. Both of them cried when they relived the memories in the album with their siblings and their families gathered around. I entitled the album "Through The Years" and put the words to the Kenny Rogers song in the front of the album. It took me 9 month to finish, but was a labor of love. Both have since died, and I am in possession of the album now. I look back and remember, "It all started with one kiss." I am grateful to have been part of it.
Oh, I bet that was a wonderful gift to them. I'm glad you joined us. :-D

Thanks Karol. Plan to get busy on the swim pages. Jersey would swim to anyplace to retrieve her ball. My best friend and I take out doodles to a dog beach in the summer and to the Atlantic Ocean during the off season. I have tons of pics. We have doodle romps at the beach too. Jersey is the white one. What fun!
