"I'm all out of love...I'm so lost without you..." Barney, a Hurricane Rita dog who was adopted shortly after the hurricane, had to be returned due to the life circumstances of his family. In spite of missing his family and going through a number of transistions in the last few months, he is a real trooper. He moved into his foster home and gets along great with other dogs and cats but would love to have a family (with kids he can call his own). He is housetrained and loves children. Barney is about 5 years old and is currently on meds for mild hypothyroidism. Although he is listed as a "special needs" boy because of this, he is very healthy (he takes his meds once daily). Because it is important that Barney's next family be his "forever," a home visit and vet reference check will be required. His adoption fee includes microchipping.
