URGENT!- Fosters needed in northern AL and GA

DRC NEEDS YOUR HELP!

 

DRC has been requested to rescue 2 female doodles found as strays in a rural shelter in northern Alabama. One of the dogs (Snuggles) is severely malnourished and heartworm positive. The other doodle (Hilda) is extremely fearful of other dogs. Both dogs need homes that are dog savvy. Snuggles will need to be "fattened up" with good nutrition and take an oral antibiotic until her heartworm treatment is started. Hilda will need a foster in a home without other dogs who can help her feel safe and then start to work with her to gradually desensitize her to other dogs. We are looking for DK members who might be able to help us with these homeless doodles ASAP.  We have transportation available to Atlanta area.
