Hi! I didn't know about this group! Willow lives in U-City, and we have seen several doodles in our neighborhood. We are sad that snow is melting too quickly!

Carrie -Welcome to the neighborhood! Willow is from a small home/hobby breeder near Kansas City but I've seen some more reputable breeders closer by on DK site.

Hi Amy, Welcome to St. Louis Doodles!!! I see my sister has already done her job and as of tonight my friend, Becky who is the other person in this group, has finished some classes so she might check out DK again. Becky and I both live in Kirkwood and our boys are the exact same ages. Becky has an adorable GD, Brie. We are getting our GD, Cimmy, next month. She was 3 weeks old last Sunday. Which T.V. station do you work for? Are you allowed to say? I am a Cub Scout den leader and we took a tour of KSDK several weeks ago. It was so interesting! The boys loved it. I love the name Sherpa.. may tell you why sometime.. but my eyes are closing and I am having a more difficult time typing. Have a good sleep. Betsy

Sophie gets so excited!!! And she is a chewer... She is not crated... We will block her in the kitchen if we are leaving... and normally the family room is blocked to her because she will chew the boys toys... but when the toys are out, she has the run of the house... but this is a new thing. Since we gave her the run of the house, she is calmer, and less destructive. Unfortunately she always wants my attention, and it is hard with a 2 year old and a 3 year old, to divert my attention from them... but I do love her... She lets the boys climb on her, tackle her, pull on her... it is crazy... she just smiles and rolls over for more!!! I am happy my sister is getting one... she is going through a hard time right now (her husband is terminally ill) and the puppy will be great with the kids...

I actually got her from a rescue... the doodle breeder (somewhere in IA or northwestern MO) turned her over... they turned over two of them... one because she had cloudy eyes, and Sophie because she was the only black in the little and apparently they are harder to sell... but I don't know why! She is beautful, smart and so good with my kids!!! Now if she will calm down a bit, we will be in perfect shape!

Love the pic of Sherpa in the car! How cute! Welcome! What park do you go to around town? I live in West Co... My sister (Betsy) is getting her doodle in a month... mine is 1. The other individual here in this group is actually a friend of ours! So glad you joined us!!!

Funny - the only two members in the group are sisters! I have a 1 year old goldendoodle named Sophie!
