We love our little Sasha to bits! But she has one problem, she drools excessively in the car. I'm talking buckets! It's horrible. We first noticed it while bringing her home from the breeder's. It goes all over the place! We are a family that travels a lot and are hoping this is just some kind of phase she's going through. We feel horrible for her. The moment I put her in the car it starts. Any thoughts on what I should do?

My 18 month old doodle is just now getting through this.  We've taken many road trips and she shakes and drools the entire trip.  She wouldn't eat or go potty for days.  She watched the road like she MUST remember the way back.  Even on a 6 hour trip...she'd sit shaking the entire way.  We drove from Michigan to South Carolina in November and I felt really bad for her but there was no other option....tried one doggie xanax...no change.  I boarded her at a training kennel close to where I was staying in SC and when I picked her up this week for the return trip to Michigan....she hopped in and sat relaxed watching almost the entire way back to Mich.  At one point I turned on the radio and she started drooling...turned it back off ...drooling stopped...but not sure if that was the issue.  In the past she hated when trucks passed us on the highway and would try to jump over to my seat...she was harnessed so didn't get very far.  On the trip back this week.....she ducked a little as a truck passed but remained relaxed.  In the past...if I left her in the car...she'd try to get on the floor under the dash....this time...she went to sleep on the seat.   Hooray...I think we're through it!!!    Good Luck working through it!!!
