Licking

Hi all,

Willow is licking a very small area on her foot. There is nothing there, no cuts etc. Any answers?

Also she is eating a small amount of poo from time to time, any answers to get her to stop.

I've read that a little pineapple in the food will stop the poop eating.  Never tried it.  Could just be a little irritation on the paw.  You could try spraying bitter apple on it.

Patti, if you have given the paw a good looking over especially for foxtail type seeds that are sometimes hard to see and still find nothing it may be symptoms of any allergy. I suggest that if it continues you search the Health and Medical group for allergies or post your question there. There are many doodles with atopic dermatitis which a reaction on the skin from inhaled allergies.
