Does anyone know how to stop your doodle from digging?  We really try to exercise our doodle and play with her but she still loves to dig.

I got so tired of filling holes with dirt that I started to leave the holes. I don't know why, but Tucker stopped digging. I think he grew out of it. He is 2 now and doesn't dig anymore. I had some deep ones too. I still have a few and I'm afraid to fill them with new dirt for fear he will dig again. I think what Adina said is key- supervise and don't let the dog out in the yard for long periods.
I have had success by putting his poop in the hole he is digging in. He never goes back to it.
Now that's clever.

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN DK! I'm sorry- I know this is an old thread, but this poop in the ground trick just saved Ragley's life lol I planted some bulbs in honor of a very special occasion and they must smell wonderful because I have had to replant them EIGHT times since Friday. It has been maddening. I have been up to my ears in mud and wet dog (it has been rainy), and I was about to my wit's end. Did the poop trick this morning (yet another fine moment of being a crazy dog lady out collecting poop from the yard haha) and she went up to each area, sniffed, and walked away!!! HALLELUJAH!!! Thank you, DKers!!!

Here is my sweet angel puppy soaked in mud up to her lovely little elbows:
