Cushing's Disease

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my Reily has been diagnosed with Cushing's Disease.

Does anyone have any experience with this?   I am so overwhelmed.   Reily is my service dog, he has rescued me so often and helped me so much.  He is my constant companion.    What scares me the most is that I won't be able to come up with the money to keep up the treatments for this terrible disease.  It hurts so much to think of letting my valiant boy down when he needs me most.

The testing has been so expensive just to get to this stage.  I am glad we have a definite diagnosis, but it sure scares me,  This is a complicated disease to treat,  I feel so alone in this battle, no one to talk to, no one to ask questions of, no one to share ideas with. 

Does anyone have any experience with Cushing's.

Advice, ideas,  it is all appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear about Reily, but I do not have any advice as I have no experience with Cushings.  You might do better to post this discussion in the Health & Medical Issues Group.
