Kennel Cough
This is my personal suggestion.
I have had 2 puppies that came from Puppy Mills and one of those was also in a shelter. Both started coughing even though they had been given the Bordatella vaccine. Mickey had a horrendous case of KC.
Because I was sensitive to puppy coughing, after the second cough Charli had I started giving her the same mediciation Mickey was on (the vet gave me extra just in case he needed it but he didn't). No kennel cough for her!
I am not suggesting in any way to self diagnose - what I am saying is that the future. all fosters (other than one coming from someone's home) will be treated for kennel cough at the first vet visit even if they do not show signs of coughing.
