I think that it is clear you have done no testing on the breeding parents, which in my opinion is very irresponsible and I think unethical. You also send out these puppies from untested parents with no spay and neuter provisions , which may result in more careless breeding. The only thing platinum about your breeding "program" may be the name and the prices you charge for untested dogs. If you remove my post I think I will post a discussion about this. In fact, I think it would be preferable if you were to remove your post.
I agree with F's assessment of your breeding program, Mindy. It really is not in line with what we consider to be responsible breeding practices here on DK. A one year health guarantee is NO guarantee in my opinion as in many cases the genetic problems arise after that age. A responsible breeder would never relinquish ownership of their puppies without knowing they will be spayed and neutered within a certain time frame. I'm sure you are aware of the problem we have in this country with too many dog owners breeding unwanted puppies who end up in shelters. Breeders such as yourself are in a position to help with this issue by requiring spay and neuter as part of your contract. Since you have chosen not to it speaks volumes about the quality of your breeding program. I too think it would be appropriate for you to remove your post.
