Right now Abby is in the mouth wide open nip/bite/mouth stage. I cant wait till that part is over. She has my 3 and 5 yr old screaming in terror at times - lol. She isnt being agressive she just thinks we are wolves. ;o) Anybody else have a real bitey one?
Also she is 3 months old and is so furry and soft...I imagine she wont stay so chinchilla soft. I also notice her coat underneath is much lighter and has little pale blonde hairs scattered throughout. Does anyone have any prediction what her coat will be like grown? She isnt curly, just fleecey and shaggy.
Your 2 doggies are adorable!! OMG the growth chart pictures are sooo cute. They look like muppets! I love Noahs coloring. Very cute - both of them! I wish I had thought of the growth comparison pictures. When we got Abby just over a month ago she was about an inch shorter than Bailey. Now she is already about 2 inches taller. I am going to try to take a pic of the 2 of them together on the couch.
Well, first off, I have a little, well, ok, not so little shark at home as well. When Fozzy treats the kids like littermates and wants to play (ie: bite) I find it is usually when they wake up and he is full of energy or before bedtime. It seems to be worse on days he doesn't get enough exercise. So, if he is attacking the boys, I remove him from the room and tell him "No Bite!" Unfortunately, I started on this wonderful practice only four days before I left for vacation. So I don't know if it will work or not, but that is what my trainer told me to do with him.
Secondly, I think the coloring is FABULOUS! Do you know how much I pay to have carmel highlights put into my brown hair??? It is very unique on a GD! I love it!
Yes! At 11 weeks,Barkley spends much of his time with his mouth wide open, looking for a hand or an arm to latch on to. Meanwhile, we are constantly looking for something appropriate to put between his jaws! It happens most when he's energetic or excited. I'm really hoping this ends with the puppy phase!
