Thundershirt
Last month I made a comment about purchasing a Thundershirt for Connor. After it arrived, we really hadn't had a good thunderstorm to put the shirt to the test. Last night, we had thunder and lightning and heavy rain. My collie was pacing and Connor was panting and barking and whining every time it thundered. I got out the Thundershirt and wrapped him up. Within literally 3 minutes, he was lying down by my feet, relaxed, stretched out with his head on the floor. I couldn't believe it.
I've heard it is more effective on some dogs than others. If last night was any indication, Connor is one of those dogs it is effective on. :-)
**I did try it on Sky the collie when it first arrived. He is not used to any kind of clothing (jackets/sweaters) and did not like it one bit. In fact, he tried to bite it off.
