Broken Tibia

Im so sad for my baby. Tonight Lexie was on her lead in the house and she got excited because someone came home and jumped up and fell backwards and landed on her right leg.  Took her to the emergency vet and had xrays done.  She broke her tibia.  Just tried to take her out and she will not stand on her leg : (

Oh, I am so sorry.  I hope she is not in too much pain.  I love the heart on her cast.  To keep her cast foot clean/dry you can put a child/baby sock on her foot.  When you take her out to potty, you can put a poop bag under the sock and it will stay on long enough for her to do her business, then you can take the bag off and put a fresh sock on.
