Ear/head shake after ear wash?

Hello,

We've started giving Pepper ear-washes due to a Vet recommendation, and she always shakes her ears after the ear wash.  I just wanted to check, is this normal?  I don't really think there is a way to prevent her from shaking, but just wanted to hear what other people do or how they handle their ear washes?
