I'm driving myself crazy prob over-analyzing her every Bowel Movement!!!

OK, so Graycie finished her last dose of antibiotics on Tuesday , so she's been 3 days without it.  I took her for a follow-up to the ear infection which has cleared, however I reported that she was doing a lot of licking on her bottom area.  The vet said her anal glands were in fact impacted and she took care of that.  She said that perhaps her stools were softer which could've caused the problem with the anal glands.  NOW, i'm obsessed with her stool consistency!  It is is still soft )not really watery....maybe 1x today it was soft with a little more liquid (sorry!)...but overall, just soft stools not firm like they used to be.  Is this typical?  How long to wait before I get concerned?  I have also been giving her one capsule of Proviable DC --I sprinkle onto spoon of yogurt.

Any suggestions or experience?  Thanks!!

Today my vet told me to give yeti a bland diet for a couple of days when I notice soft stool. Perhaps if it's not too inconvient you could feed Gracie a bland diet for a couple of days. Yeti is currently loving his sweet potato and chicken! We put his proviable right on top of it and he loves it!

She is on Orijen Puppy...lately past couple days giving her the pure bites chicken for treats...and OMH biscuits and fruitables biscuits.  She was getting PB with antibiotic or probiotic ...but today i laid off the PB.

I'd keep things simple with her diet. Pure Bites are fine, but no peanut butter. Try using mashed sweet potatoes if you need something to coat pills. Continue with the probiotics and yogurt is a good idea also. If she continues to have issues with soft stool or anal glands, you may need to look for a food with a higher fiber content, or adding more fiber to her diet. Dehydrated sweet potatoes might be a good treat option.

So do you think I should hold the Orijen for now all together?

What other recommended food has a higher fiber content?

I will def tried the sweet potatoes! Thank you for your suggestions!!!
