Monthly vomit/bile??

Hi just wondering if anyone has experienced this with their doodle...I've seemed to notice a pattern with our new 1yr old pup. Either the end of the month or very beginning of the month Graycie will throw 1x per day, over 2 consecutive days, either her undigested food or bile. Not really a set time of day...she never seems lethargic right after or before and will eat normally without incident afterwards and her BM's are normal and regular. The only warning sign is immediately before she throws up she looks at me and I can tell she's about to gag.
Is this anything anyone has experienced?

Is this by any chance coinciding with your giving her monthly heartworm or flea/tick preventative?

Actually it seems to occur a few days before she's due for a refill...

I'm stumped then. It's not unusual for any dog to occasionally bring up bile, and even regurgitate food once in a while, but for it to happen regularly at a certain time of month is very odd. Can you connect it to anything that happens at that same time every month? Grooming appts, day care, etc? Something she gets once a month?

Not that I can think of?! Unless could she be going through a little growth spurt and gets hungrier than usual then?
She ate a full dinner tonite and kept it all in as usual...let's see what happens tomorrow. It doesn't usually happen 3 days in a row....

At a year old, it's doubtful that she'd be going through a growth spurt, and it wouldn't be happening only at the beginning or end of each month. 

It's the monthly pattern that's odd. There could be any number of reasons why it happens, but it would be happening randomly. 

Has she been spayed?
