Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Daisy, my 1.5 year old Goldendoodle, has been losing the black color on her nose. It seems really weird that the color seemed to be rubbing off of her nose! Her once black nose is now turning brown:( I looked this up online and I found that it is called "snow nose" and it happens when it gets colder outside, and it may or may not reverse it's self once it gets warmer again. We live in North Alabama, so it's not like it is really cold here or anything. I have had several dogs in my lifetime and never experienced this.
Has any one heard of this or had any experience with it?

This is not really a medical issue, it's related to color genetics. JD's nose also faded and fluctuates from dark brown to a rose color.
Ned has a snow nose while Clancy doesn't.
