Sophie Bear's first year wellness exam

I received a notice in the mail last week about Sophie's 1st annual wellness exam. I'm wondering what to expect. Is there anything in particular I should ask for?

About vaccinations, I've read a bit about the consequences of over vaccinating dogs. How crucial is it that I do all of the vaccinations? What is the name of that test that tells you if they are still immune?

Is there anything else I should be thinking about or preparing for?

We have a Wellness Plan through our vet which I love!!  Once you purchase the plan, you never have to pay for an office visit or vaccines and it includes 2 comprehensive exams per year.  They do blood work, urinalysis, full body physical (mouth, eyes, ears, body), and a fecal.  There might be some other smaller items but those are the main items that I remember.  I am really glad that they offer it.
