Our Pono weighed 18 pounds at his first vet visit, at 9 weeks old.  So proud of our big boy!  Any advice for a big puppy owner?

Haha, I love a good cheesy pun!  But actually, "Pono" is Hawaiian for "good and righteous"!  Here's hoping he lives up to his name!  So far, so good!  Axel is precious!  Any words of wisdom?

Antlers, stuffed toys and those dog toys made from tires keep him really happy and he doesn't chew things he's not supposed to! People will disagree with what I'm going to say now -- get him neutered early. If you wait until he's over a year, he may develop the habit of marking and peeing everything in your yard and other's yards. I HATE when dogs do that. I love that Axel squats like a puppy and pees only when he has to.  : )
