I have horse, but yet to take Schulz out to see them. He is very skiddish around other dogs, and I cant imagine how he will be around horses, and horses do not like skiddish dogs. So just wondering if anyone has dealt with this before??

Annie is great with horses, but then again she was born at a place with a horse. The first time she really interacted with the horses she was just over a year and loved to bark at them, I guess she thought they were giant dogs LOL she also has a weird thing for chickens go figure. Well she only once chased our daughter's horse, but she was just lounging it so no damage was done of course. Now at almost 3 she is amazing with horses, she will sit by the ring while my daughter rides or plays with the other dogs never running into the ring or terrorizing the horses in the pasture. I think the earlier you introduce them to horses the better they will do and if you gradually introduce them to the horses they will be great. I think you should take your dog out on a leash and let him/her smell everything and bring him/her up to you horse(s) and let him/her sniff them and if you gradually start to maybe let them off or let out the retractable leash (if you have one) so you still have control, but they can still partly be on their own. I hope I could help :)
I am glad I could help :)
