Hannah retrieves, pens and her toys! Honey will do Rocks, sticks and acorns...lol. First time my xh and son went hunting with our Brittany, "Spuds" he ran away from my X..lmao. He loved him so much he would take off for hours and they would have to look for him, Spuds always brought him back a gift...a dead skunk was one of them...lol. Whenever Jas and I would take Spuds for phesants we never had a problem working with him. Looking back now, it's great to be able to have a laugh.

Ha..........I remember growing up I was always in charge of the bath after our beagle came home from hunting!!

Hi again Tamara & Giada. As you you we HAVE hunted with our Pierre. He was less than a year old and went duck hunting with my husband and boys. With little training but a strong desire to please and retrieve he did a great job and brought every duck he was sent after. Conditioning will be the goal this year, it's hard work and hunting days can be long, check out Pierre's hunting pic's. Oh and by the way we have a new baby girl, a little red head Miss Piper, and she too will be in the conditioning and training cycle this year. even if you don't hunt you can still teach them to retrieve you beer or soda. pic's to follow

I'm not a hunter either, the only thing I shoot is a camera..lol. However, my x hubby and son are avid hunters, and trained a brittany for hunting years ago, so I do know some stuff, and will be happy to share.
