Doodle Walking Group

With spring around the corner I realized that my new sneakers are still in the box with an inch of dust on them. I would walk but I need to meet someone in order to get off my lazy duff.

anyone interested in getting a walking group together? I am available most days since I work from home and the weekends. They only place I know of is the South Mountain Reservation that has walking trails.

I am open to suggestions!

I'd be interested in a doodle walking group if it ever meets near my area. I live in northwestern NJ in Blairstown. There are several nearby parks such as Footbridge Park (Paulinskill  Trail), Jenny Jump Park, Allamuchy State Park, and Swartswood.

I'm interested !!  I live in central Jersey (Avenel).  Maybe we could pick a place that is centrally located for everyone and have a doodle walk :)

Barbara, I'm in Middletown - Monmouth County.  Have you ever walked the trails in Cheesequake park?  I've never been there but hear it's nice.  We usually walk the trails closer to home in Holmdel Park (Holmdel) or Hartshorne Park (Atlantic Highlands).

Dana - Cheesequake sounds great. Will take me 40ish minutes. What day and time and we will be there!

It looks like Monday & Tuesday are going to be the only nice days this week. 55 tomorrow & 45 on tues. The afternoons are best for me - any time after 12:30 -  here's some info

From the GSP: Take exit 120 and make a right at the end of the exit ramp and follow to the first light. Make a right. At the next light make a right and follow road into the Park.

Diane (Jersey & Jasmine) & Janie (Jack) are going to meet up with us tomorrow. since we are not familar with Cheesequake how about if we meet at the entrance to the park at 1pm.  Is that good for you?

I can join if there's room for one more doodle! I'm in South Plainfield, Middlesex County. Have never been to Cheesequake, but have an idea of where it is! Barbara, I feel a day off is in the cards!
