Rutgers Day includes events and activities on each campus. Cook Campus features farm and plant related activities. I've been meaning to attend for a couple of years now to check out the Master Gardener Plant Sale. My trainer has been telling me about it, she will be there testing CGC for the 4Hers. She says it's very dog friendly! I plan on getting there early, they say the tomato plants sell out quickly! Here is a link if anyone is interested:

I did call Rutgers just to check and they said dogs are welcome on all campuses, not just Cook! Have fun if you plan to go!!

Are you definitely going? What time and where will you be? I am seriously thinking of going. the weather is gorgeous, they have interesting things and food. what more could one ask. Why don't you put this up in The NJ group too. some people might get an email who wouldn't otherwise see this. I wasn't aware of this event.
F, I am definitely going. Everyone tells me to get there early for parking reasons and for plant selection, so I plan to get there at 10 and head to the tomatoes! I've been studying the pamphlet http://rutgersday.rutgers.edu/pdf/rutgersday-cac.pdf and it looks like there are plant sales going on all over. The Master Gardeners and the college both sell vegetable plants, I think I'll hit up the college sale first. There is so much to do, it looks like a lot of fun! I'll PM my cell# to you if you plan on going, would love to see you! I'll be with my husband Tom, and Jack and Jilly.
This is in the Jersey Group, did you mean maybe posting it in the Garden Group?
