glad to here reilly, tug and barley are doing better. good luck with the surgery on friday melissa. and leslie thanks so much for your response to me about the whole fur/grooming issue. i feel much better now.

charlie not much of a sneezer. but he does make these adorable yawns when he first wakes up that we love!!!

Glad the boys are all doing well! Barley gets his big surgery on Friday.

His eye has cleared up. He just had some gooey stuff in the corner of his eye, and we noticed some redness. The vet us some ointment and it cleared it up within 3 days. I am hoping it was just a little infection, and not allergies. I am glad to hear the sneezing/snorting is common when they are playing.

I will say this pup still has the same goofy personality as the day we got him. It must be the breed, we saw a 90lb GD at the dog park, and it was like 90lbs of Barley running around (that I don't think I could handle!!)

Oh, phew! I am so glad to hear Reilly is feeling better. Tugg is doing well. He was a bit disoriented last night but still stuck with his routine and slept through the night. He wore his cone and seemed to sleep fine with it (although he was very confused about the whole situation - haha). So far, so good - the hardest thing is going to be keeping his activity level down. Good luck to everyone else!
Melissa, how is Barley's eye infection clearing up? Tugg does the sneeze/snort when he is playing, too, Leslie! Have not noticed anything with his eyes, yet.

Glad Reilly is starting to feel better. Tell him his big brother wants him to get better so they can meet.

Halas has kind of a sneeze/snort thing that he does when he's excited. He doesn't do it too often when he plays with me, but if it's someone he only sees once awhile, he sneezes like crazy when they're playing. But he's never had any problems with his eyes.

That's good news. Glad he is doing better! That must of been so stressful.

We had to take Barley to the vet last week for an eye infection. The vet suggested he may have allergies. We notice him sneezing in the morning and when we take him out of his crate in the afternoon. Is this normal for any of your pups?
She said another sign of allergies is scratching, which I don't think he does excessively.

Reilly is finally doing better..this morning he finally ran around with his cone on!Which is a first..so hopefully the insion is healing..Thanks to all for your cares and concerns!!!
Lauren I'm so happy for you that Tugg surgery went really well! I hope none of Reilly's litter mates have to go through what he did..may all their surgeries go well..

Took Tugg to the vet to get neutered. We are picking him back up at 6pm today. Just spoke with his doctor and he said everything went really well and the little patient is walking around. I'll keep you all posted with his recovery process once we see him.
