Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Due on April 17th, Gabby will produce her second and final litter from this extraordinary breeding.  These babies have the Tegan Park/Rutland Manor Australian bloodlines.  This combined with Champion Poodle stock and sound English hunting Labradoodles made our first litter extraordinary puppies.  We have kept in touch with every one of our babies from the first litter and their owners are willing to speak with prospective buyers about their experiences with their puppy and with us.  We do NOT ship, nor will we knowingly sell to large-scale breeders.

Doodle Kisses Questions:

.-- Are both parents hips tested and cleared by OFA, PennHIP, or their Canadian/Euro equivalents?

Yes!  For 4 generation on both sides, everyone in the line has been OFA tested and rated at least "good"; the only first-litter puppy to be tested with PennHIP screening also scored "good."  He was chosen as a St. Francis Service Dog.

-- Are both parents tested and cleared for eye disorders either by PRA or yearly CERF exam?

Yes, both parents have had CERF testing and were completely clear.

-- Any other additional health testing/clearances on the parent dogs (please list if yes)?

Both parents were tested for Brucelosis prior to breeding.  Our veterinarian is willing to speak with any prospect and recommends us as a breeder.

-- Do you offer a minimum of a 2 year health guarantee on your puppies with monetary reimbursement (without required return of dog) should one of your warranty-covered disorders occur in this puppy?

We offer a two-year warranty against all genetic deficiencies.  It requires a veterinarian's evidence and communication/verification through OUR vet.  We would require return of the dog in order to replace the dog.  We would not refund the cost unless there was no plan for another litter.  This would be done to ensure neutering and placement in the perfect home...under no circumstances would the pup be resold.

-- Will these puppies be spayed or neutered before they go home?  NO.  Vereranarians recommend male puppies be neutered at approximately 9 months.
-- If these pups are not early spayed/neutered, how will you prevent your pups from being bred possibly indiscriminately by unqualified people (i.e. spay/neuter contract, etc)?  Our contract prohibits our pups from constantly kenneled as part of a breeding "program."  We screen our buyers, match puppies to families and may ask for a reference from their current vet.  We could restrict CKC or Australian Labradoodle Association of America registration but that probably wouldn't discourage an irresponsible breeder.
