Three year old female choc. doodle needs rehoming

This is the only place on Dk I am allowed to post this, but Lucy is not a pup--she is a 3 year old chocolate labradoodle (see picture) who need a new home with no small children and dog savvy owners-I believe Lucy would be happiest as an only dog, as she sometimes is reactive towards SOME dogs--

Here is the background on Lucy--she has been home raised by a breeder and then was sold to a family---the family has allowed three years to go by while struggling with resource guarding (only with the children in the home) and aggression towards some dogs--she does not dislike all dogs but has had run-ins with a few. The family has decided to bring her back to the breeder, who will board her with a behavioral trainer for evaluation and training for several weeks. 

There are no other issues with Lucy--she is well behaved in the house as far as chewing, etc and totally house-broken. She loves to play and run and is a beautiful healthy dog. She is located in western Massachusetts and should stay in that vicinity in case she needs to be returned. 

In order to cover the cost of the boarding/training, the breeder is asking $500 for Lucy and will, of course, allow the sale to be on a trial basis, so that the new owners can see how she is in their home.

Did Lucy ever find a home?  I have a friend who is seeking an older dog and would like to pass along this information if Lucy is still available.

I think they did--I had a woman interested but she had an issue in her family and backed out--after that, I lost touch with the original owner, but I think she had someone else lined up--this dog would not be able to go to a family with kids, so i hope they placed her in the right situation. Thanks for asking...sorry I can not help.

NP Ginny. Thanks for the quick response. It would not have worked because my friend has 3 children AND a 2 yr old dog. I re-read the entry after sending the message.  She has been checking the Doodle Rescue groups so I am sure that she will find a Doodle soon.
