Maureen, Mandy has to be over 1 year to be in a aclassroom. So we are going to go to training classes until she passes Good Citizen and then she will have a 3 hour test to pass for therapy certification. There are only a couple of places here that test for therapy work. We have 4 more puppy classes left and she is doing great in those. Then I will look at advanced classes for her this summer, hope to find one during the day but doubt if I can so we will have to go in the evenings. She is doing so wel in class that I hope we can get right into the next level without much wait time between them.
I wonder how big she will be too! Ugh, she and Cookie are doing their "let me lick your mouth" routine, LOL Mandy doesn't get far from me, usually she is in the same room with me and laying as close as she can and if Cookie gets attention Mandy carefully and slowly moves between me and Cookie, so sneaky.

Hey, Cindy, it will be fun to see if Mandy doubles her weight!
Misty is slight and smaller than Betty....we're housebreaking them and raising the price!
what's next for Mandy in her quest to be "approved" to go to school with you?
Does she have to wait a while before the Good Citizen certificate? Or is that cert. part of your plan?

She is so good around little kids and babies, I worried but she is so calm and doesn't mouth them or jump. She had a silly attack this morning, running in the house and jumping around. The weather is cooler and cloudy so it must have made her frisky, now is nap time, LOL I can't wait to be able to take her to work with me, I think she will be great in a classroom. Tuba sounds so wonderful, can't wait to see pictures!

Mandy had her last puppy visit today. She is 17 wks and weighs 33.6 lbs. She got her rabies shot and is getting used to the tag. They all said she was so sweet and well behaved!! She gets fixed Jul 6th. She is such a good girl. I took her to the car dealer with me yesterday to get the oil changed and she sat or laid by me and was excellent in the waiting room. Of course all the people in there thought she was beautiful and couldn't believe she was only 4 months old and so well behaved!!! Naturally I thought she would be good :)

Anthing nre going on at Labradoodle Ranch? I hope Misty and Betty have homes now, they are so adorable. Mandy is doing great (of course). I have just been so surprised at how calm she is for a puppy, very well behaved. I got her a gentle leader last night during puppy class. She does a good job on the leash, but with the cast coming off next week I worry more for my hand's well being if she does decide to pull too hard. We walked tonight with it and it didn't bother her. She is growing so fast, we go to the vet next week so will find out what she weighs. Last time she had gained 10 lbs between visits.
School is now out, so she and I will have the summer to hang out together!!
