Log Cabin Updates
Hello all, Happy, Blessed, and wonderful Holidays to all of our LCL family members!
Paddy just turned 7 months old, to say he is a wonderful dog is an understatement. I am a single 50 year old woman and he is the best thing I have done for myself and my life. He is a GREAT little guy. His height is 17inches to the withers, and his weight is approaching 20 lbs...17.0 now...he attends camp while I am at work so I am hesitant to cut down on his food intake just yet, the camp staff indicate he runs and runs and runs...all day long (he has a 2 hour nap from 11:00-1:00).
I still feed him raw and innova puppy...alternating. He remains quite smart, quite cute, and very aware of his cuteness. We take on leash walks daily and off leash (only with treats mind you) walks on the weekends. He understands all commands...usually listens...love to play catch with his football, barks when someone comes into our yard, which is fine, and barks when he wants something...we may have to do a bit of work on that...Paddy thinks camp is "his" and while he does not bark at his caretakers there, or at me ,he does bark at the owner sometimes when she enters camp....anyhow, we enroll in beyond basic obediance on January 19th...then maybe we will try agility as Paddy loves loves loves to run and play. How I adore these dogs!

Hi Mindy,
Paddy sounds terrific. Our Bumble is 4 months, and she rarely barks which is interesting. But then she did just finish her shots, so we're just now able to take her throughout our city neighborhood and park. She is quite spirited though, as it sounds like your Paddy is. Will he be considered medium sized when full grown? Ours is expected to be around 30 lbs. I think. -
