Dog Day Care- Walkers and Sitters

Hello Long Island!

I have an adorable 13 week old puppy and I'm investigating options on what to do with her when I need to be out of the house. I work mostly from home but do need to be out a couple days a week. I currently am relying of good friends and neighbors to come feed, break and play. I would like a more reliable and professional person to do this. Any thoughts? We live in East Northport and I am currently working on a project in New Hyde Park, flexible on days and times. 

Puppy is sweet,potty trained, but as you know needs her active time.

did you ever find a solution?  i would like to have some kind of day care a few days a week.  I am going to check out PetSmart at the Walt Whitman mall-any comments?

bring this conversation back to life - did anyone ever find someone to stay at their home to watch their dog. I have the sweetest most mellow boy- and sometimes travel.  I too, have been relying on neighbors and friends (they usually fight over taking him) but he is most happy in his space and I am looking for someone to stay at my home - I live in Port Washington. Suggestions very welcomed on trusting, responsible sitter.  Thanks!
