Petsitter

Hello everyone. Does anyone know of a great petsitter? I am going away in February for a week and can't board my precious Riley. I am looking for someone who would take him into their home who loves animals. Riley is a sweet cuddler who is not a threat to children or animals. Riley is affectionate and craves attention so I's prefer a home where there are people around most of the time. ANy suggestions?

Can you tell me a little more about Riley? Would he go in a crate when the sitter is not home? How big is he? Where does he sleep? I have never pet sit before...but would consider it. What are the dates you will be away?

Casper is 60 lbs, he is very friendly, he doesn't go in a crate, and I have 3 little boys...I do work about 3 hours a day.

Maybe this could work?

I did have to leave Casper once, I left him with Ron Gold here on Doodle Kisses...they did take good care of my sweetie.

Hi Lori. Where do you live? Riley is 1 year and 8 months old. He is 30 pounds (mini). I usually don't leave him in the crate when I leave because I'm sure to pick everything up and I live in a small apartment. He loves his crate though and you could certainly leave him in there when you leave the house if you felt more comfortable. He is a sweetheart and I sometimes let him sleep in bed with me but only if I invite him. If you tell him "Down" he won't try again unless invited. He will usually curl up on his doggie bed or the floor. The only problem I have with Riley is that he likes to eat small objects so I need to be careful about dropping things like water bottle caps, socks, and even metal objects like nails and screws. Does your doodle eat strange items? I can't figure it out. He can't possible like the taste of these things and he has plenty of toys.

Hi Kim, I would be available to petsit for Riley the week of Feb. 7 and the week of the 21st. I have two doodles that love other dogs. Let me know if I can help you out. I would be home most of the time.
