What ever happened to Girls having Cooties?

Let me start by saying that I really don't mind women joining this group. The discussions they have brought forward so far have been great. But I wanted to find out what the sudden interest is in women joining the boys club?

When I joined I thought this was a group created for men to discuss their doodle-filled lives with each other. In todays society is a group made up of just men considered sexist? Vice versa are men allowed to join the single womens' group?
