Mini to Medium Goldendoodle questions

Hi all! My parents are considering a mini - medium goldendoodle but are concerned that breeding a Golden with a mini poodle could give a doodle who looks out of proportion (like some mini horses). I would really appreciate if you could tell me the size of the parents of your mini/medium doodles. A picture of your dog would be wonderful - pictures are worth a 1000 words! I was going to google this but thought I'd come here and ask some experts :-) Thanks in advance - I can't wait to hear from you!

Here is a picture of Peri...she has grown taller recently, but still looks like this proportion. If your parents use good breeders, the mini/medium would be beautiful. I think that is more of a myth than reality. Also check out my profile pic of her standing up. Peri is almost 5 months old, is probably 13-14 inches tall and is about 16-17 pounds. Her breeder expected her to be 16 inches full grown and 25-30 pounds.

My dog weighs 19 pds and her sister 27 pds. Mother was a 50-55 pd Golden and Dad was a 10 pd miniature poodle. Ours seem to be very well proportioned. They look just like mini versions of a Standard Goldendoodle to me. Hope they find a wonderful companion.

I wondered about this, too, when I was deciding to get Halas. His mini-poodle daddy is about 9 or 10 lbs, and his golden retriever mommy was about 45 lbs (so pretty small for a golden). I wanted the same proportions as a standard, just in a smaller package. He's now full-grown at about 26 lbs, and I think he's in proportion to the standards. Lucca's dad is a miniature poodle and mom is an english cream retriever (60 lbs). He is 11 months old and weighs 35 lbs. He won't get any larger than 40 lbs. Most of his siblings are the same size. I had a golden retriever for 12 years and when she passed I decided I wanted a smaller size but with similar personality. They're alot easier to manage and more transportable. He has an incredible personality. I don't think he looks out of proportion at all.

Gracie's mom was a dark red golden, 60 lbs or so. Her dad an 18 lb apricat poodle. Gracie has always been balanced and in proportion. Gracie is about a year in this pic and she is just under 30 lbs then and now.

Belle's mom was a 50 lb Golden Retriever and her dad was a 5 lb toy poodle. She is perfectly proportioned and is almost 10 months, so probably close to her full size. I think she is about 13in tall and is 14 lbs.
