Older Dog Lunged at Puppy!

I believe I would take a walk with older dog healing on left and younger pup walking on opposite side under control. Your establishing yourself as pack leader. I have three Goldendoodles 4Yrs.,1 Yr.,5 Months. This worked for me. Good luck be a calm, assertive pack leader. Bev,Harlee,Chloe & Li'l Buddy!

Your older doodle might have just been establishing himself as the Alpha dog in your pack. He didn't make contact with the pup did he? If they don't they will never get the respect from the puppy. Dog's are much smarter then we humans at raising our young in that respect!
