Suggestions for taking pup to swim somewhere this weekend? We live in metrowest area (Newton, MA) but willing to travel to northshore or wherever to calm lake or somewhere relatively mellow to introduce pup to swimming with my family? Would love some ideas!
Thanks!

Hi there! We have taken him to Lake Waban at Wellesley college which is great but have not really explored many more swimming areas-except Cutler Park which is also great- but Ozzy didn't want to swim that day....
We live close to a school so he has just been romping around there with some new buddies, but always looking for great places in area to take him hiking, walking, swimming...apparently Millenium park is good for dogs and to swim but have yet to explore as life is suddenly so hectic! Hope Josie is doing great!
Thanks Jodi. Looks like (other than today), weather might be getting chilly for swimming now, but good to know for next year. We are also looking forward to some hiking. There's a great trail in Hingham that is surrounded by the ocean on both sides that we're hoping to go to soon. I think Josie will LOVE hiking :) Your Ozzy is adorable, by the way. A much larger version of Josie. He kind of looks like our no-longer-with-us Wheaton Terrier, Annie.
Aw- thanks- your pictures are amazing- soooooo precious! Ozzy is huge now- I have not posted recent pictures. He is a love though. Did I see you were having your dog trained as a therapy dog? What does that entail? Would love the details on that....although work part time, have 3 kids, and now Mr. Ozzy....so if it involves alot of work, probably won't work...it's just Ozzy is so mellow and such a good boy, I think he'd be great. good luck- keep me posted.
I will send you a "friend" invite and fill you in via message.
