Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I'm trying to get a feel for interest for a possible doodle romp on June 11th. I've never planned a doodle romp before, and this will be my first attending. Reply if your interested or have any suggestions.

If we get 10 of us, we can even get the indoor rental for $10 per person and free "admission"

I've seen it brought up here before, though I don't know if anyone's actually been there.

I would definitely be interested....keep me posted please
I am going to see how far it is from where I am in Ohio, it sounds awesome! What a great idea!
I too would be interested, Pittsburgh is just a hop, skip and a jump away from us. Keep us posted please.

I contacted Lucky Paws to see about reserving the room for the 11th. They said that the facility is rented out for the day by the Western PA Humane Society. They noted a few alternative suggestions for dates, but none work that well for me. Instead of putting off the romp until later, what do you think about joining in on the WPAHS "Make a Splash"?

Here is a link to the advertisement: http://www.wpahumane.com/SplashPoster.pdf

The price would stay the same ($10) and the money would go to a worthy non-profit.  The "make a splash" event only runs between 10-1pm, though the park is actually open form 9 am to 7 pm. So if people are hesitant (too many people/dogs) we could just do later or earlier. I'm interested in feedback either way!

(See PA group for PA responses ;-])

Glad to see we have some interest here, and I'd love feedback on the date/time issue. I posted a new topic in the main forum, to centralize the conversation between states. Please go to this link to see the thread and respond there if you plan on attending. http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/proposed-doodle-romp-june

Thank you!!!

Carla, though I still would love to come I don't want to leave you hanging and as I do not know that we can make it yet I will have to reply a maybe. Is this something we can just come to or do we HAVE to sign up?

I am fairly confident that it would be fine to just "show up". since we are NOT visiting as part of the event going on that afternoon (its over at 2, we arrive at 3) the fee should be just $10 and no pre-registration is required. I'll update and get back to you if this changes.

Just make sure to bring proof of vacs (bortadella, rabies, distemper). ;-] I hope you can make it!

Just a link to the centralized thread if anyone from Ohio is still interested:
