Doodle in Shelter in Ohio

Hey all,
There is a beautiful parti-colored Dood in Troy, Ohio which is near Miami of Ohio University. Rollo is owner surrendered. Appears to be non-shedding from the photo. F1b. His cost is $60.00 !!!

Or, if you live near this area and can pull him I will foster him but am having serious car problems. I would consider driving to Columbus area next week to get him.

Did you find anyone to get him? I will take him and find him a home. Let me know. We have a Goldendoodle and a Standard Poodle (Rescue). I could drive to get him next week. Keep me posted.

Not yet. I would have been there by now, but this is the second time this month my car is being stupid. I don't trust a 4 hour drive.

I did call the shelter and he is still there. Grafton is not far from me. I live in the Akron area. I would certainly drive to Grafton, but not SW Ohio alone. Too many rural areas I could get stuck with this car. If you can get him to Grafton I can take it from there. I would pay the 60.00 to you, plus gas. Let me know. My email is [e-mail]

Hi Joanne, I live about 45 min from the shelter. I used to live in that area years ago also. If it were early in the week maybe I can help out. Would they let me pull the dog? I live right off I-75 in Lima. Let me know if I can help.

Yes, he is open to the public. He has been there since October 4th. Everything else looked good accept he is not neutered.
I would be able to foster and list him on DRC. They have many waiting to adopt.

My problem is transportation. I don't mind an hour or so drive.... but I don;t want to be to far out on a rural road with no back up plan.

Mansfield would be half-way for me. Anyone get him to Mansfield and I will pay the get-out-of-Jail fees?????

You have 2 dog/puppies so I know you are very busy. How would you like to help. I can foster--just need a doodle-train transport.

Lets all get together and get him out of jail. He is beautiful and I think we can get him a home quick.

YES! Been to Bucyrus. It would only be a less than a 2 hour drive for me. I feel safe with that! What day would be best for you?

What a great group here in Ohio DK!!! I am so thrilled! Just one post and so many DK members jumping in to volunteer to help! FANTASTIC! If anyone wants to continue to help Doodles in need, we would LOVE for you to join us at The DRC. We always need help pulling Doodles from shelters, foster or Doodle Train to help get a Doodle to a foster/forever home!! Unfortunately, Ohio shelters are filled with Doodles.
