Doodle in Shelter in Ohio

Hey all,
There is a beautiful parti-colored Dood in Troy, Ohio which is near Miami of Ohio University. Rollo is owner surrendered. Appears to be non-shedding from the photo. F1b. His cost is $60.00 !!!

Or, if you live near this area and can pull him I will foster him but am having serious car problems. I would consider driving to Columbus area next week to get him.

If your car is not working or there is any other problem, I can help out on Thursday or Friday next week...even from Bucyrus to Akron. I cannot help until Thursday, but would be glad to transport or anything else. Joanne...are you going to foster him or adopt him? Do you need me to look for a home for him? Any one let me know if help is needed. I am willing and able.

Yes, Laurel, please stay on stand by for the end of the week. I will let you know if it goes down on Monday or Tuesday. If not, we will go from there.

Don't know really what my plans are for him until I get him home, vetted, and neutered then I will go from there about his forever home. Just need to get him out of jail first. One thing at a time.

Thank you Laurel for staying on Stand-by for Thursday or Friday. He has been there almost 10 days so my first priority is getting him warm, safe, and cozy. Thanks OHIO

My intent was to list him on DRC. Doodle Rescue Collective http://doodlerescuecollective.ning.com/
There are several thousand members ( most from this website ) who either volunteer to help out and others sign on to adopt. A collective. They carefully screen applicants who would like to adopt. They are very successful once the dog has been pulled and placed in foster care. They seem to place doodles within two weeks!! That is just my observation.
Please join us over on the above website. Check it out at least. There is only one other person in Ohio that helps out. We have so many doodles in Ohio, we could use more fosters! And it's fun. Like borrowing a dog. :)

Heaven knows, I would love another doodle but I am up to my paws in a very rambunctious teenage doodle right now. Rollo is another teenager. He is just one year old doodle.

If you are interested in adopting him, sure, go get him! I will give you support as needed. He is extremely handsome, I think. He has been in that shelter long enough and I thought he would have a better chance ( he will have a great chance) being fostered and finding a forever home.

At this time, I have not contacted DRC because I don't have him yet. Did you want to go get him and adopt? Foster? Or just help me get him out. Whatever you can do is greatly appreciated.

We live so close--an hour away, it would be great to work together.

The Shelter has told me Rollo was adopted to a good family on Saturday.

Let's keep in mind Ohio, that there are many doodles in our shelters. If we can offer a good, warm, cozy home for a week there are many out there who would love to adopt. Consider Fostering with me.
