 I bought one of their books ( Pittsburgh version. They have a bunch of books, mainly covering North East areas of US. ) a while ago, and it has been so helpful finding really good places to hike with Charlie!  The book makes me want to travel to other places, possibly out of state, just to hike with her.

Thanks for posting this Kyoko.  This looks like a great site and we are always looking for great places to go with our doodles.   I've signed up for their newsletter.   We love to hike with Sheba and Duke, you should try it with Charlie.  It's a great experience and it is a good way to add more training time in and in a beautiful setting.

Yeah, I spent Easter weekend with Charlie at State park and hiked for 2 days! It was so much fun and really theraputic. I would like to do it more often to cleans my soul....

I just saw your post (have been away from the site for a while).  If you are ever in Northcentral PA, try any of the trails around the PA Grand Canyon.  There is the West Rim trail which is done in sections so that you can get on and off at various points.  There is also the rails-to trails for easier walks.  I am lucky enough to live here and walk and hike these almost daily.  Just be careful if you also camp because not all of the PA state parks are dog friendly.
