Breeding Dogs and Puppies live in the home and not in a kennel, out building,
garage or outside?
The dogs all lived in side and were able to use a doggie door to relieve themselves.

Was home and property clean and pleasant?
There were many dogs there and the property was impeccable. Everything was very clean and all of the dogs seemed happy! I was surprised with all of the dogs and puppies that the place even smelt clean!

Where you allowed to view health records and testing for the parent dogs or
other dogs owned by the breeder?
Yes, Amy provided all documentation for health records for the parent dogs.

Were the dogs well groomed?
All of the dogs were well groomed and very clean.

Were the dogs well behaved and obedient? The dogs were all friendly, responded to commands and were able to calm down quickly even with all of the excitement

Was at least one of the parents on site for the visitation?
Yes! We were able to meet Teddy's father, grandfather, great grandfather and his mother. It was wonderful to be able to meet and see the personalities of all the generations!  We also got to meet all of his littler mates.

Why did you choose this breeder? Amy only breeds goldendoodles, she was one of the pioneers in breeding some of the generations of goldendoodles, she bred one of the first goldendoodles who was trained as a service dog and is very active in GANA. Every review I read about her and her breeding process was positive. From the very start, Amy was knowledgeable, helpful and wanted to ensure that we got a dog that best met our needs and wants. We had many questions along the way and Amy was always willing to explore options and give us a breadth of information. We were nervous and excited about getting Teddy and Amy always made us feel at ease.

Would you buy another dog from this breeder again in the future? With out a doubt!

Other comments: We loved working with Amy. She was professional, but also very caring. Amy never hesitated to call or respond to our emails through out the process and it is clear she is an expert with this breed. She knows her dogs very well and was able to provide solid advice and guidance for choosing the right dog for us. When we picked Teddy up, she spent over an hour with us making sure we were prepared for our new puppy. We loved being able to meet all of her other dogs and it is clear how much she loves her animals and what she does. If you are looking for a goldendoodle, I would recommend using Amy Lane(Fox Creek Farms) with out any hesitation!

Breeding Dogs and Puppies live in the home and not in a kennel, out building, garage or outside? Breeding dogs live in the home. Until they are taken home by their new owners, puppies live with moms in a clean, well-ventilated building that was added on to the home/office. Each mom/puppy area has a doggie door so the puppies learn to relieve themselves out of their sleeping/feeding area.

Was home and property clean and pleasant? Very much so. I was surprised at how little the home/office smelled like dogs.

Where you allowed to view health records and testing for the parent dogs or other dogs owned by the breeder? Yes. In fact, Amy sent us home with a stack of papers documenting our new puppy's health records, health records and genetic testing of his parents, as well as his pedigree going back to his great-grandparents.

Were the dogs well groomed? Very well-groomed. She bathes her dogs once a week.

Were the dogs well behaved and obedient? Yes. You could tell that they were well-trained. They listened to her immediately when necessary. The younger ones were eager to play. But the rest were very calm and easy-going.

Was at least one of the parents on site for the visitation? Yes.

Why did you choose this breeder? A couple of reasons. First, friends of ours had gotten their golden doodle from Amy and were very happy. We also got to observe their dog quite a lot and loved his temperament. Second, Amy was very responsive to our initial inquiries, flexible about arranging a time for us to come meet her and the dogs, and answered all of our questions with patience and an obvious breadth of knowledge. (This contrasts with another breeder who stopped responding once we asked to come visit her farm before committing.) We were very particular about what kind of puppy we wanted in terms of size and coat consistency. During the 6 months that we waited, Amy was immediately responsive to our questions and kept us informed as we waited to find out which litter would have our puppy.

Would you buy another dog from this breeder again in the future? I wouldn't use any other breeder. I've already recommended her to a few people who have asked. Like the other reviewer's experience, Amy spent so much time patiently explaining how to care for our new puppy, answering our questions, talking to our kids about handling him, etc. Now that we've had him for nearly two months, she is still immediately responsive to the occasional questions that we have. While this is her livelihood, she obviously cares about all of her dogs and wants to ensure they are raised in health and happy homes. Our puppy has turned out to be the best dog!

The dogs all live in a home environment.

Amy's place is immaculate!  I cannot overstate what a wonderful job she does maintaining a clean environment for her animals.

Where you allowed to view health records and testing for the parent dogs or other dogs owned by the breeder?
We were given full health profiles on both the parents.

Were the dogs well groomed?

We encountered well over a dozen dogs of different ages in our trips to Fox Creek Farms and they were all obviously very well taken care of and certainly well groomed.

Were the dogs well behaved and obedient?

Amy definitely has control of all her animals.  On the rare occassion she had to correct a behavior, the dogs listened immediately. my children are somewhat timid around dogs and they did well, even when confronted with half a dozen adult dogs as we entered the house.

Was at least one of the parents on site for the visitation?
Both the Dam and the Sire were on site and we had the opportunity to interact with both of them.  I had met the Sire on our initial trip to look at the facility as well.  I fell in love with him that day and I was so excited to learn that he was Sire to the litter our puppy came from.

Why did you choose this breeder?

I stumbled onto Amy's website while I was researching different breeds.  In all honesty, we were so impressed with our initial interactions with her with sort of chose the breeder before the breed.  It definitely helped us feel confident that we were making the best decision for a breed for our family.

Would you buy another dog from this breeder again in the future?

ABSOLUTELY!!

My husband and I were raised with dogs in our homes, but this is our first puppy of our own.  Our family dogs came from rescues, not breeders, so this process was all new to us.  That said, I can't imagine a better breeder experience than what we got from Amy Lane.  She was so responsive to any questions we had along the way, even before we had decided on getting one of her dogs.  I found the research process difficult, particularly regarding breeders.  How do you find a reputable breeder if you don't have a personal recommendation?  What  initially drew me to Amy was the very prominent section of her website entitled How to Spot a Puppymill.  She is very approachable and, at no point, did I feel uncomfortable asking her even the most mundane questions (and I ask ALOT of questions).  When we were still in the decision phase, I found a woman in our area who had goldendoodle from Fox Creek Farms.  She was happy to immediately provide a reference for Amy and even brought her dog to us so we could meet it.  Every one of Amy's Goldendoodles I have had contact with have such wonderful personalities!  I would highly recommend looking into Fox Creek Farms if you are in the mid atlantic region and looking for a Goldendoodle.
