Breeding Dogs and Puppies live in the home and not in a kennel, out building, garage or outside?  Yes. They are born in the home and the puppies live in the home the whole time. (Some litters are at Brandi's, some at her mom's and some at one other business partner's.) The puppies are exposed to other pets (two cats and an English bulldog) plus four (home schooled, so home all the time!) kids.  

Was home and property clean and pleasant?  Yes definitely. I wish my home was that neat. Especially with two cats, a dog, litters of puppies and four kids! 

Where you allowed to view health records and testing for the parent dogs or other dogs owned by the breeder?   I even spoke to her vet, plus had MANY references (10+)

Were the dogs well groomed?    Yes 

Were the dogs well behaved and obedient?  Only met the puppies but so far, our pup is sooooooo calm for a puppy 

Was at least one of the parents on site for the visitation?  No, because the father is a stud and mother is living in her guardian home. 

Why did you choose this breeder?    We spoke to a lot and she was very helpful, and very honest with us. For example, we asked about times an adoption did NOT go well. She told us about a litter she had a few years ago that had 13 pups and one of them had real behavioural issues - NOT the parents' fault, the vet did a ton of testing and concluded it was actually a genetic issue - and how she had resolved it etc. We also asked about genetic testing and what happened with a dog was found to have issues, and discussed a dog she had "retired" due to poor hips - etc. 

They breed very thoughtfully, for temperament, and I can already see that in our pup. 

When we took our pup to the vet a few days after bringing him home, our vet asked us where we got him from. When we told him Sutter Buttes Labradoodles, he said they are REALLY good, that he had seen 15+ pups from them over the past year or so, and they really seemed to know what they were doing. 

Would you buy another dog from this breeder again in the future?   DEFINITELY.
