Carla-our neighbor will be out of town too. I have asked around and am gathering a few leads of pet sitters people I know have used. I will let you know when I get the contact info!

Carla-

We are going to be away that weekend and I'm not sure if we're coming back on Sunday or not. Or we would totally do it!

We do have a 13 year old boy in our neighborhood (2 doors down) who does dog sitting and walking for the neighbors. He's great with the dogs. Trooper just loves him. Tyler would probably be interested-we live right off Rt 19 close to the 79 exits in Zelie so it would be easy for drop off and pick up!! Let me know if you're interested and I'll get his parents phone for you.

I'm not sure if any of the kennels in this area do day only on the weekends (or at least in the evening).

there may be someone is your area that can watch BB for the day.
Also, try your vet's office, they may know of someone or a doggy daycare nearby.

I need to drive to Portersville, PA for a wedding on Sunday July 19th. I was wondering if there is anyone around here near there that would (a) be interested in petsitting BB, (b) knows a pet sitter in the area who might be available for the day, or (c) can refer us to a quality kennel who would do a day job. We're looking for someone who can watch our BB from about 3pm till about 9pm while we're at the wedding.

Right now we're trying to work out viable options, and I'd appreciate any suggestions or feedback... Our current best option would be to leave him at home for 12+ hours and find someone who can come visit once or twice during the day.

Pamela, I'm sorry to hear that! I was hoping you'd be able to come. I'll start a discussion about this. Hopefully we can get something together. I know BB would LOVE to catch up with Trooper  (and Charlie) again! ;-]

Hi Carla! I think we'll be out of town 3/7 as well but I'd love to try to get doodle romps started again! I haven't been on the site for a looonnggg while.

I'd definitely like to get together for more playdates! Roo loves to play as well. He literally bangs down the door when we take him to daycare he's so excited

Would love to have a play date but we are not going to be in town that weekend :(  I live close to Lucky Paws (Charlie goes there for daycare).  Let me know if you change the date, Charlie loves to play!

Where in Pittsburgh are you from? Any interest in getting together at Lucky Paws in Cranberry Twp March 7th or 8th? Also open to suggestions for other good places nearby!
