Thanks Karen and Lucy, I've heard of these romps but in distant states. I would enjoy one close to home. Lancastrer is not too far for me but my youngest doodle (Cassie) gets very car sick just going to the vet or groomer. What do you do at these romps? This is all new for me.

Hi Betty and welcome! There was a doodle romp in Lancaster on April 26th. That is the month that is designated Romp Around the World for doodles. They have this every year. Lucy and I traveled from near Pitts. for it. It was held at a dog park and there were ALOT of doodles there. I couldn't even begin to guess how many. But it was great to meet the owners and their great doodles. Lucy had a blast. Will let you know when and were the next one will be. I would love to have one on the western end of the state too. A little closer for me LOL LOL LOL

Hi PA doodles! I have 2 doods and they are both from Pa. Bad Company Labradoodles and one from pet store in Quakertown Pa.
We live NW of Phila. Iwas reading all your conversations and it sounds like ther was a doodle meet in Lancaster? When waas that? How many people and doodles?

I just realized Amy, that you are about 50 miles east of Pitts. We can not be too far away from each other. We are going to have to plan a little doodle romp of our own some day. I am soooo glad to have someone from the western part of the state here.

OMG Amy...... How wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Were you planning on getting this little guy????? I thought you were trying to rescue. I am going to have to look into one of these pups. Is there a web site I can go to? $350, what a steal. Are the parents health checked??? I will have to go to your page and see if you have pics posted, I hope, anyway.

Welcome Amy to Pa. Oodles of Doodles!!!!! Great to have ya. Where in Pa. are you? How great it is that you are trying to rescue, I would love to be able to do that. My DH says 1 is enough! I am working on him though. I hope that you are able to get this little guy, but like you said if it is meant to be then it will happen. Keep us informed Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a little note before I go to bed.....
My DH and I are going to Fayettville for the national Apple Fest the 2nd. weekend of Oct. Have any of you been there? What did you think? We are going to arrive on Fri. the 10th. go to the festival on the 11th. then visit Gettysburg on the 12th. and back home again on the 13th. We are going to be staying at the Angelic Inn. Anything special I should be sure and see/visit? In April on our way home from the doodle romp we stopped at Gettysburg for 2 hrs. and really want to go back. We live about 32 miles NE of Pitts. so it will take us a few hrs. to get out there. I love the eastern part of the state!!!!!!!!!

Hi Vicki, I was really hoping you, Luke and HurriCane Man would join us Pa. owners. How have ya been. I haven't been on The Zoo for awhile, I have been very busy this summer. I then joined DoodleKisses and just love it. I like having your own page and adding soooo many pics. How is Luke's back doing?
