Bark Zone- Any experiences?

Charlie's day care was sold to Bark Zone (current locations in Hillsboro, Aloha, and Lake Oswego). I haven't quite decided how I feel about this- does anyone have experience with them?

I've read the website, but I'd like to hear from you. Is it clean? Does your dog seem happy to come and to leave? Does the staff know you and your dog? Do they do a thorough evaluation of the dog? Do they handle the pack of dogs well? Are they easy to schedule and do business with?

I may have a biased opinion because the owner was my track coach in high school, but he is one of the nicest guys I have ever met, the staff at the Hillsboro location knows my dog by name, and he always come home happy and tired. So you shouldn't worry about the ownership change; I've had really positive experiences with them. My other go-to doggy daycare, closer to my house, is Sniff Dog Hotel, which is more expensive and booked out in advance, but they have a really cool raised grass drainage/cleaning system (not to mention happy hour), so I usually recommend them too.

Wish I could respond but we live out in the East County area (Gresham)-research is so IMPORTANT.  Hope goes to Dog Town out this way and, they are pawsome (as Hope would say)!
