Spaying/Neutering

So it is almost getting to the point where I need to spay my little doodle. I am considering low-cost spaying and spaying through the vet I go to. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice. I could really use the help. Pros, cons, etc. anything will help. Thanks

I received a quote from my vet that included every cost, which turned out to be $205 ish. This price was not with the certificate or was it a low-cost neutering. In Austin, low-cost neutering is about $45 to $65, depending on the type of animal and the sex. I talked to someone about this, and said some vets might say things cost more if they know the dog was expensive. I would watch out for that for sure.
