Are you having nipping trouble? or are you just trying to be prepared? there are a ton of discussions on here and on the main forum about nipping.
our pup does this only when the kids are flapping there hands like crazy, so I tell them to tuck there arms in and fold them like they are mad and turn from Paddington, it works like a charm every time! so don't let him gnaw on you at all. I've gone to Pet Smart and someone comes over to Paddington letting him chew on their hands like it's okay (yes he is very gentle) BUT DON'T LET PEOPLE DO THIS. I always say very gently, "Paddington, do not gnaw on their hands, we don't want you to gnaw on the kids hands" and usually people will get the hint...sometimes I just have to flat out say this.
Thanks I will try that I also put a toy in his mouth felt his gums and found some new teeth coming him He is also getting to now his territory and really expanding I keep practicing his name Maybe I am just trying to be prepared is that wrong???
I will look for more on nipping
NO it's never "wrong" to be prepared! LOL...I just know from reading on here, that some puppies are nippers and nothing works and others aren't really and a simple no bite works great :) I'm lucky enough to have a non nipper! :) He gets the kids hands like I said if they are flailing about but as long as they learn to keep them in we are all good :)
KJ seeing that I am very knew to this blogging where on this do I find more info on nipping???
Sorry I am sort of computer illerate He is resting by the bathroom door now and Willson has been starting coming in the kitchen when I cook which is good but there are times when we are outside and time to come in he doesn't want to
