Another question: Bailey used to love riding in the car. She would go everywhere with me and did great during the ride. Recently though, she's been vomiting at the end of our carrides. She's fine until we arrive at our destination, and will then just throw up. My husband says it's because my driving is making her carsick but I drive slowly and make very slow turns to avoid this but she still gets sick. She never throws up otherwise. Just in the car. What to do? Is it my driving after all? Why did it just start? She's fine afterwards and is back to her peppy, fun self.
I'm sure it's not your driving LOL! Doodles have sensitive tummies. Bailey may outgrow it. We desensitized our puppy by taking him on many, many mini-trips. Sometimes just around our subdivision, but mostly back and forth to school, which is less than 2 miles each way. It worked! He used to be really car sick and now has gone as long as 4 hours in the car without any issue. I've also heard that Ginger Snaps work before a car ride, but I haven't tried that one. Good luck!
Zoe gets car sick too. Well, *fingers crossed* she hasn't thrown up the last 3 or 4 times we rode in the car, which is great. But she doesn't like it at all, we have to wrestle her into the car each time.
